Now I will still demo probably, but I think you see my point - even if I took a week to demo both, I don't know I would pick up on those differences when it's all new to me. And I'll probably just demo Pro at this point. Thank you very much for the valuable feedback and saving me some frustration! Just could not find any good real user comparisons of Elements vs Pro (probably because most just get Pro if they can afford it, I imagine), even after 3 or 4 concentrated searches over the past few months. I'd been considering Sound Forge also, but I hate Magix's constant "updates" every year with upgrades costing the same as new purchases for the most part. (and then $200 to upgrade - getting almost to the level of WaveLab Pro on sale at that point!)
